Project Manager II
Location: Michigan (Hybrid - 20% in-office, 80% in-field)
Contract Duration: 1 Year (Likely extension into 2026 and 2027)

Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Project Manager II to support a variety of infrastructure and maintenance projects within the Enbridge Great Lakes Region. This role requires a proactive professional with demonstrated experience in managing medium-scale capital and maintenance projects, with a preference for candidates possessing pipeline and Enbridge-specific experience.
This position is largely remote but requires the candidate to be based in Michigan, with the flexibility to travel frequently to various project sites across the state (including the Upper Peninsula). Office attendance is expected approximately 20% of the time.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage infrastructure projects from planning through execution, including:
- Construction of a code storage building in the Upper Peninsula
- Replacement of 30-inch unit valves, including procurement and planning
- Conversion of flexible hose connections to hard piping
- Planning and executing a major valve replacement (7 valves) via nitrogen purge
- Develop project scopes, budgets, and schedules; manage costs and resources
- Liaise with internal engineers and external vendors
- Ensure compliance with Enbridge procedures, safety standards, and project guidelines
- Prepare and maintain accurate documentation, reports, and project deliverables
- Manage up to 8–10 projects concurrently, with individual budgets typically ranging between $200K and $2M
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum of 4 years’ experience in project management, ideally in the energy, utilities, or infrastructure sectors
- Strong understanding of project management principles and tools (e.g., MS Project, Excel)
- Proven ability to lead multiple medium-scale projects simultaneously
- Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and vendor coordination skills
- Must be based in Michigan or willing to relocate independently (no relocation assistance provided)
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel extensively across Michigan
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working with Enbridge and knowledge of its systems and procedures
- Familiarity with pipeline maintenance and construction processes
- PMP Certification or equivalent
- Post-secondary education in engineering or related discipline
- Prior experience managing projects in remote or field-based settings
