Job Title: Supply Chain Planner

Job Summary
The Supply Chain Planner is responsible for ensuring the timely, cost-effective, and efficient flow of materials and supplies required to meet business needs. This role involves monitoring inventory levels, evaluating supplier and logistics performance, and continuously improving supply chain processes. The Supply Chain Planner plays a critical role in responding to supply disruptions and demand fluctuations to ensure operational continuity.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, monitor, and manage inventory levels to meet production and customer demand
- Track and analyze the performance of suppliers, transportation methods, and warehouses
- Identify opportunities to improve supply chain efficiency, reduce costs, and minimize delays
- Coordinate with procurement, logistics, production, and sales teams to align supply with demand
- Evaluate and recommend changes to suppliers, transportation methods, or warehouse locations as needed
- Respond to supply chain disruptions, including material shortages or sudden demand increases
- Develop contingency plans to ensure materials are delivered on time during supply emergencies
- Prepare reports and forecasts related to inventory, demand, and supply performance
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field
- 2–5 years of experience working in a supply chain, logistics, or planning role
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities
- Proficiency in supply chain planning tools, ERP systems, and Microsoft Excel
Preferred Certifications
- APICS Certified in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM)
- APICS Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP)
