Summary:
We are seeking an experienced EPC Cost Estimator III to prepare and support cost estimates for medium-size and moderately complex engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) projects. The role involves developing detailed discipline-based estimates, performing quantity take-offs, and coordinating estimating activities across multiple project stakeholders.
The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in construction cost estimating and a strong understanding of estimating tools, cost control practices, and engineering disciplines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare complete and detailed cost estimates for assigned EPC projects of medium size and complexity.
- Perform quantity take-offs and develop discipline-specific estimates.
- Build estimates using WBS (Work Breakdown Structure) including materials, labor, and equipment.
- Develop pricing using standard industry estimating practices, guidelines, and tools.
- Review drawings, specifications, and contract documents to determine full scope of work.
- Participate in project meetings to understand scope and estimating requirements.
- Coordinate overall estimating efforts for assigned bids/projects.
- Use cost estimating software with guidance from Senior Estimators.
- Maintain accurate supporting documentation and backup for all estimate figures.
- Assist in updating and maintaining cost databases.
- Interface with owners, engineers (A/E), and contractors to provide cost and feasibility input.
- Apply standard mark-ups, contingencies, and other construction estimating factors.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 1–2 years of experience in construction cost estimating (EPC preferred).
- Knowledge of estimating techniques, cost control, and construction practices.
- Ability to interpret drawings, specifications, and computerized cost data.

- Measurement & Regulation (M&R)
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills.
- Familiarity with estimating software tools (training provided if needed).
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a remote environment.
Education:
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Equivalent relevant estimating experience may be considered in place of formal education.
