The Team Lead role is designed for strategic oversight and modernization leadership. Strengths include governance, compliance, and organizational change. Preferred cybersecurity leadership ensures resilience against threats. The role bridges executive vision with technical execution, making it critical for long‑term modernization.
Software Use
- SQL Server (governance, audit trails).
- Red‑Gate SQL Monitor (oversight of monitoring outputs).
- BI tools (Power BI, Tableau).
- Governance platforms (Collibra, Alation).
- Project management tools (MS Project, Jira, Trello).
Experience Needed
- 8–10 years in data management, analytics, or IT strategy.
- Leadership experience in government or regulated industries (healthcare, finance, justice).
- Proven track record in modernization projects (data lakes, warehouses, governance councils).
- Experience in change management and organizational transformation, with formal training in methodologies such as Prosci or Kotter.
- Preferred: Cybersecurity leadership depth, with advanced security certifications (CISM, CISSP) and training in Zero Trust frameworks.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, or related field.
- Master’s degree preferred (MBA, MIS, or Public Administration with IT focus).
Certifications (Preferred)
- CISM – Certified Information Security Manager
- CISSP – Certified Information Systems Security Professional
- ITIL – Information Technology Infrastructure Library
Aptitudes
- Strategic visioning and policy alignment.
