Job Location: San Antonio, TX
Project Duration: 12 months with possible extension
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Requisition entry, tracking and management
Budget tracking, standardized report updates and management
Equipment and parts shipping arrangement and tracking
Travel arrangement and expense report creation
KPI tracking and reporting updates
Maintain office standards
This person will come in at 8am and confirm office supplies, office cleaning, etc and follow up with the respective support groups if there is anything that needs to be put back in std, after that he/she will confirm his email for any urgent requests from the team, if there are no urgent requests he/she will focus on the std activities defined in the job description shared such as: Creating requisitions in Ariba, receiving POs, arranging shipment of parts, etc.
A person that had been in a similar role at least between 2-3 years. Role: Administrative support with an associates degree or equivalent preferably.
2-3 years minimum, ideally in a manufacturing environment, not obligatory but ideally.
It is more a procurement / sourcing type of role, but the expectation is that this person is detail oriented and proactive enough to support the team of engineers with other activities within the same line of work.
Note: This person will not be taking on any engineering related work done for the project.
Requirements:
1) Detail oriented, resourceful and proactive.
2) Ability to set priorities and meet deadlines.
3) Requisition and budget tracking experience.
4) Understand sourcing and procurement processes
5) Proficient in Microsoft Office.
Ideal: 2-3 years using in SAP Ariba Software/Network
The candidate needs to be a GED/ High School Graduate
