Job Overview
The Equipment Operator II is responsible for safely and efficiently handling various tasks related to order processing and warehouse operations. This role involves operating a Cherry Picker to carry out the following essential duties and responsibilities:
Key Job Responsibilities:
· Complete a lift inspection prior to scheduled shift to ensure safe equipment operation and wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) while operating lift truck equipment.
· Safely and efficiently operating a Cherry Picker to move and retrieve items throughout the facility.
· Perform battery charging and watering for battery-operated equipment as needed.
· Utilize the radio frequency (RF) scanner and computer system for order processing, troubleshooting, and to assist Inventory Control with shelf counts, confirming zero stock, and handling warehouse denials.
· Replenish primary pick locations from overstock areas and maintain inventory accuracy in high picking room locations.
· Ensure proper housekeeping within the designated work area.
· Safely load and unload trailers, set dock plates, and chock trailers securely.
· Manage manifests, Bills of Lading (BOLs), and invoices.
· Perform any other duties assigned by the supervisor.
Requirements:
· High School Diploma or GED
· 3 or more years of experience operating a Cherry Picker Forklift
· Must be equipment operator certified or able to obtain certification in OP, RC, Forklift, Pallet Jack, and Tugger, which includes both written and performance-based tests.
· Working knowledge of performing tasks using Radio Frequency (RF) Scanners.
· Strong adherence to safety rules, regulations, processes, and procedures.
· Ability to work at a fast pace while consistently meeting quality, accuracy, and expectations.

Environmental/Occupational Health and Physical Requirements:
Typical 9-hour workday, employees are expected to adapt to a fast-paced work environment and have the capacity to spend extended periods at a computer. Occasional lifting of 50lbs or more may be necessary to fulfill job responsibilities.
