Responsibilities

• Engage with potential clients through outside sales efforts, including field visits and community networking to generate new business opportunities.
• Conduct thorough analysis of client needs to recommend suitable insurance products that align with their unique agricultural operations.
• Manage sales administration tasks such as preparing proposals, processing applications, and maintaining accurate records of client interactions.
• Develop and implement marketing strategies to increase brand awareness and attract new agribusiness clients.
• Provide ongoing customer service by addressing inquiries, explaining policy details, and assisting with claims or policy adjustments.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies, including understanding of HIPAA (Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act) where applicable.

Skills

• Proven experience in outside sales, retail sales, or telemarketing within the insurance or related sectors.
• Strong negotiation skills coupled with excellent communication abilities to clearly articulate product benefits and address client concerns.
• Proficiency in sales administration tools and analysis skills for tracking performance metrics and market trends.
• Knowledge of marketing principles to develop targeted campaigns that attract agribusiness clients.
• Customer service orientation with a focus on building long-term relationships based on trust and professionalism.
• Familiarity with benefits administration processes relevant to employee benefits packages offered through insurance plans.
• Active Property & Casualty Insurance Licese or willingness to obtain license within first 45 days of the job.
