WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:
Operate injection molding machines to produce quality molded components.
Read and follow production operating instructions and verbal directions.
Monitor machines throughout the production cycle and promptly report malfunctions.
Inspect finished parts to confirm they meet established quality standards.
Identify, record, and communicate rejected parts and quality concerns.
Complete secondary processing such as trimming, sanding, cutting, assembling, boxing, and packaging.
Maintain accurate production counts using manual methods or scales.
Complete work orders, labels, lot numbers, and production records accurately.
Keep tools, packaging materials, samples, and other necessary equipment stocked.
Communicate important production information to supervisors, leads, and incoming operators.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workstation throughout your shift.
Suggest practical improvements to production procedures and daily operations.
WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE:
The ability to read, understand, and verbally communicate work instructions.
Basic reading, writing, and math skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
A dependable work ethic with strong punctuality and attendance.
The ability to work independently while contributing to a cooperative production team.
A careful eye for product quality and the ability to recognize defects.
Comfort manually cycling machinery by opening and closing the machine gate.
The ability to frequently lift, reach, and pull up to 25 pounds.
The ability to stand for at least eight hours during your shift.
Comfort working in a non-climate-controlled environment that may occasionally reach temperatures of up to 100°F.
Availability to work occasional weekend overtime when required.
