Regional Technical Sales Manager (Semiconductor Automation)
Bay Area, CA | Dallas, TX | Arizona (Remote with 50–70% travel)
Our client is a global leader in semiconductor automation and test equipment, providing cutting-edge Automated Test Equipment (ATE) and Factory Automation Solutions (FAS) to customers across Asia, Europe, and North America. We’re seeking a Regional Technical Sales Manager to drive growth across the U.S. market. You’ll work closely with global engineering, operations, and applications teams shaping sales strategy and positioning the company as a trusted partner to leading semiconductor manufacturers and integrators.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute regional sales strategies to achieve revenue and growth targets.
- Drive new business development while managing existing customer relationships.
- Identify and assess new market opportunities and recommend action plans.
- Represent the company in technical discussions, presentations, and client meetings.
- Collaborate with engineering and marketing teams to develop customer-focused solutions.
- Build and maintain partnerships with key clients and distributors.
- Monitor competitive activity and provide insights to strengthen market positioning.
- Prepare performance reports, forecasts, and updates for senior management.
- Uphold the company’s commitment to quality, innovation, and customer satisfaction.
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Business, or a related technical discipline
- 5 years of experience in a sales or engineering role within:
- Automated Test Equipment (ATE) design/manufacturing, or
- Semiconductor manufacturing (preferably final test)
- Deep understanding of equipment manufacturing and automation systems
- Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM tools
- Results-driven and self-motivated with a collaborative mindset
