About the Role
As a Bartender at QUA in Fountain Valley, you will play a key role in creating a warm and memorable dining experience for our guests. Your primary responsibility will be to prepare and serve a wide range of beverages—including cocktails, wines, and non-alcoholic drinks—while maintaining the highest standards of quality and presentation. You’ll engage with guests to provide personalized recommendations and ensure exceptional service. In addition, you’ll be responsible for keeping the bar area clean and organized, monitoring inventory, and following all safety and health regulations. Your contributions will help cultivate a lively and welcoming atmosphere that keeps our guests coming back.
Minimum Qualifications
Must be at least 21 years of age
Previous experience as a bartender or in a similar role in hospitality
Knowledge of drink recipes and mixology techniques
Strong customer service and communication skills
Must have a flexible schedule; be able to work weekends, holidays and weekdays (night or morning shifts)
Preferred Qualifications
Certification in responsible alcohol service
Familiarity with POS systems
Knowledge of local craft beers and wines
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
Responsibilities
Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to recipes and guest preferences
Deliver outstanding guest service, answering questions and providing recommendations
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar, including glassware and work surfaces
Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies
Follow all health, safety, and alcohol service regulations in compliance with local laws
Skills
Strong knowledge of mixology and beverage preparation
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Attention to detail for consistent quality and cleanliness
Ability to manage inventory and ensure a fully stocked bar
Preferred: knowledge of local craft beverages and experience using POS systems
