Description
- Review quality schedules to ensure the manufacturing of product(s) meet customer expectations.
- Plan and review quality systems, establishing priorities and sequences for manufacturing products. Resolve operational, manufacturing, and maintenance problems to ensure minimum costs and prevent delays.
- Assist in review of data obtained during quality assurance activities to ensure consistency with company policies and procedures.
- Assist in developing new approaches to solve problems identified during quality assurance activities.
- Assist in informing management team of significant issues or developments identified during quality assurance activities and actions being taken to improve the situation.
- Utilize the appropriate personnel based on skill sets.
- Evaluate, develop and ensure appropriate training processes are completed with Team Members.
- Trains team members on production, quality and safety procedures associated with QA.
- Ensure quality requirements and procedures for the area are understood and met.
- Provide assistance to Team Members in solving problems/concerns that affect their performance.
- Other duties as assigned by the Quality Assurance Assistant Manager/Manager.
Qualifications
Qualifications:
- Associates degree or equivalent, or two (2) years related experience and high school diploma or G.E.D., or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Two (2) years leadership experience in manufacturing industry.
Technical Competencies:
- Good problem solving skills.
- Proficient personal computer and system software skills. (Microsoft Office - Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Etc.)
- Technical knowledge in product design functions, and manufacturing inspection processes. (Ability to understand part drawings, Datums, Outlines, Surfaces)
- Basic knowledge and experience in Stamping & Welding processes a plus.
