Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Inventory Control Manager to oversee and optimize our company's inventory processes. The ideal candidate will possess strong data analysis skills and experience with inventory management systems.
Duties
- Manage all aspects of new vehicle inventory from building to desired specifications/receipt of vehicles from factory through auditing vehicle inventory on lot.
- Assign stock numbers and ensure inventory is accurately input into DMS.
- Oversee the receipt of vehicles from vendors, ensuring that any damage is reported in a timely manner.
- Correspond with factory and other vendors regarding physical inventory.
- Manage the sales reporting process including reporting vehicles sold, verifying and claiming incentives, and validating that sales qualify for factory bonus programs.
- Responsible for tracking allocation, factory, and ground units at warehouse, in transit, or on lot and communicating needed information to members of management.
- Maintain relationship with other Toyota dealerships and routinely engage in vehicle swap process.
- Coordinating and supervising a team of swap drivers.
- Other related duties as assigned.
Experience
- Minimum of one (1) year of experience as an inventory control manager or equivalent position.
- Minimum of one (1) year of management experience.
- Strong organization and analysis skills are a must.
- Experience with Toyota Motor Company is a plus, but not a requirement.
- Proficiency with dealertrack or automate is preferred.
- Ability to communicate in a professional manner with key members of management and factory representatives.
- Ability to pass a drug test, background check, and a clear motor vehicle record is required.
