HireArt is helping Toyota Research Institute find a UX Researcher to support research for its factory robotics initiative. This role partners closely with the lead UX researcher and contributes to the execution and synthesis of robotics UX research. You will support user research involving both digital interfaces and physical human-robot interactions.In this role, you will focus on hands-on qualitative research, including in-person contextual inquiries, usability testing, and interviews. You will assist with study setup, data collection, and synthesis and contribute to research findings and insights that help translate user needs into impactful robotics applications.The ideal candidate is collaborative, detail-oriented, and experienced in supporting qualitative UX research in technical environments.As a UX Researcher, you'll:Support qualitative research activities such as contextual inquiries, usability testing, interviews, and in-person observations.Assist with research study planning, logistics, and preparation under the guidance of the lead UX researcher.Conduct note-taking and documentation during interviews and research sessions.Help synthesize research findings and contribute to insights that inform design and product decisions.Collaborate with researchers, designers, and engineers to translate research insights into actionable recommendations.Support research involving both digital interfaces and physical human-robot interaction systems.
