Toyota of Santa Barbara is looking for an Onboarding Coordinator to join our team. This position plays an important role in creating a positive first experience for new employees by helping guide them through the hiring and onboarding process. What You'll Do
- Create and manage job postings and assist with the hiring process.
- Schedule interviews and communicate with applicants.
- Prepare offer letters and complete new hire onboarding through Paylocity.
- Track onboarding documents and coordinate pre-employment requirements, including background checks and drug screenings.
- Schedule new hire orientation and assign required training.
- Maintain accurate employee records and onboarding trackers.
- Serve as a resource for new hires throughout the onboarding process.
- Partner with managers and Payroll to ensure a smooth onboarding experience.
- Provide administrative support to the Payroll department and assist with other duties as assigned.
What We're Looking For
- Previous administrative, office, customer service, or onboarding experience is a plus, but not required.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficient with computers and able to quickly learn new software.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Professional, dependable, and eager to learn.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Experience with Paylocity is a plus.
