Overview
We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Auto Parts Counter Professional to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be the vital link between technicians and our extensive inventory of automotive parts and accessories. Your expertise will help technicians and customers find the right parts efficiently, provide outstanding service, and support their vehicle maintenance and repair needs. Responsibilities
- Assist technicians in identifying and selecting the correct automotive parts and accessories using product knowledge and inventory management systems
- Manage inventory control, stocking, order fulfillment, and parts organization to maintain an efficient parts department
- Process sales transactions accurately using POS (Point of Sale) systems while handling cash and credit card payments responsibly
- Build strong relationships through effective communication, product recommendations, and personalized service
- Collaborate with the service team to support automotive repair processes and ensure timely parts availability
- Maintain organized records of inventory, order history, and client interactions using CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) or similar tools
Qualifications
- Proven experience in automotive parts sales or dealership environments with a solid understanding of automotive repair processes
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot vehicle systems and diagnose basic issues
- Excellent communication skills
- Proficiency on the computer, inventory management systems, POS platforms, and retail math skills
- Demonstrated organizational skills with attention to detail in stocking, order fulfillment, and inventory control
- Customer service-oriented mindset with experience in retail sales, cashiering, or client relationship building
- Knowledge of automotive diagnostics, vehicle maintenance procedures, and automotive parts management is highly desirable
