Our service department is growing, and we're looking for a motivated Service Reception/BDC Representative to join our team. The Service Reception/BDC Representative acts as the first point of contact for service customers -- over the phone. This role is responsible for scheduling appointments, handling inbound and outbound calls, following up with customers, and ensuring every guest receives an excellent service experience from start to finish.
Responsible:
- Greet customers by phone in a friendly professional manner.
- Schedule and confirm service appointments using our scheduling system.
- Answer incoming service calls and assist with general inquiries.
- Make outbound calls to schedule appointments, follow up on declined services, and remind customers of upcoming maintenance.
- Communicate effectively with service advisors and dispatch to ensure smooth customer flow.
- Maintain accurate customer records and document all interactions.
- Provide updates to customers regarding their vehicle status when needed.
- Assist with daily reporting, call logs, and department goals.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a BDC, customer service, or automotive dealership environment preferred.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask.
- Comfortable using computer systems and phones.
- Positive attitude and team-player mentality.
- Reliable and professional appearance.
Schedule:
- Full-time (including some Saturdays)
- Hours vary depending on department needs.
