The Role:

We're seeking a driven and detail-oriented Software Engineering Test Technician to join our innovative engineering team. In this role, you'll be hands-on with cutting-edge software, firmware, and hardware systems, validating performance, connectivity, and functionality across our iWAREHOUSE product suite and telematics platforms. You'll collaborate closely with engineers across disciplines to ensure every system we deliver performs flawlessly in real-world conditions. We value innovative and creative ideas-yes, even during meetings (where snacks are always welcome). If you enjoy tackling challenges with positivity and a bit of humor, you'll feel right at home here.

What You'll Be Doing:
  • Plan, organize, and execute comprehensive test cycles for iWAREHOUSE hardware and software, including connectivity, sensor integration, and data-pipeline validation.
  • Perform detailed analysis of telemetry data and system logs to detect and resolve functional, communication, and performance issues.
  • Lead troubleshooting efforts across multiple systems - including telematics devices, lift truck interfaces, and cloud-based data platforms.
  • Collaborate with software, firmware, and cloud engineering teams to verify defect fixes, validate new features, and ensure reliable feature deployments.
  • Process, analyze, and visualize large datasets, preparing clear technical summaries, reports, and recommendations for engineering and management teams.
  • Maintain accurate and comprehensive test documentation, including procedures, configurations, and results.
  • Uphold TMHNA safety, quality, and environmental standards in all testing and validation activities.

What We're Looking For:
  • 2 years of hands-on experience in software testing, telematics, or embedded systems.
  • Strong hands-on technical skills with a commitment to safe, precise testing practices.
  • Experience installing and using sensors, data acquisition systems (DAQ), and diagnostic equipment.
  • Self-motivated and resourceful, with the ability to work independently and within a collaborative engineering environment.
  • Excellent communication and technical writing skills for documenting test plans, test cases, and results.
  • Proven ability to analyze complex systems, troubleshoot effectively, and identify root causes.
  • A customer-focused mindset and a drive to ensure system reliability and performance excellence.

What Sets You Apart:
  • Associate degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
  • Naturally curious and analytical, always eager to uncover root causes and optimize system performance.
  • Flexible and adaptable, comfortable working across hardware, software, and data-focused domains.
  • Strong technical aptitude with a continuous learning mindset and enthusiasm for emerging technologies.
  • Highly detail-oriented, ensuring accuracy and consistency in every test and deliverable.

Where and When You'll Work:
  • This is an in-person role located at our Greene, New York office-ideal for those who thrive in a hands-on, team-oriented environment.
