What are the responsibilities and job description for the Press Technician position at Toyota Boshoku America?
This position involves previous experience with metal stamping presses. This person will be responsible for the following:
- Attaining efficiency targets (work with equipment and die maintenance on countermeasures to prevent reoccurrence)
- Planning for successful die changes (less than 5 minutes) and coil changes (less than 3 minutes)
- Maintaining Kanban system on one press
- Quality – Work with Group Leader to determine countermeasures for internal and external rejects
- Housekeeping – Daily organization and cleanliness for one press and surrounding area
- Following TBTN's standard work procedures, safety, quality, and productivity
