Toyon Research Corporation is seeking a hardworking, detail-oriented Receiving Specialist to work closely with Engineers and Lab Technicians to assist with receiving and distributing manufactured parts and other shipments.
Responsibilities
- Receiving incoming packages and delivering the contents to the intended recipients
- Tracking in-transit packages and communicating status to recipients and buyers
- Verifying and organizing packing slips
- Coordination of purchasing, tracking and maintaining lab and production space supplies
- Organizing, managing, and controlling inventory
- Assisting with lab and production space general upkeep
- Package equipment for shipment using appropriate packaging materials to ensure safe delivery for express or freight items
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience
- Ability to work independently and with others
- Self-motivated, reliable, detail-oriented, and organized
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Desire to take responsibility for completing assigned tasks
- Computer proficiency (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite)
- An interest in working in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent written and oral communication skills

The annual pay range for the Receiving Specialist position is $55,000 to $80,000.
The posted pay range values provide the candidate with guidance on annual base compensation for the position, at a full time level of effort, exclusive of overtime, bonus, and benefits-related compensation, over a range of qualifications that may fit hiring objectives. Toyon Research Corporation will consider the individual candidate’s education, work experience, applicable knowledge, skills and training, among other factors, when preparing an offer of employment.
