U.S. Citizenship Required. This position will require a current TOP SECRET clearance. Candidate must be SAP and SCI eligible.

This position is in person, on site, at our office in Clearfield, Utah.

The successful candidate will continually work to develop positive and productive relationships with employees within the corporation as well as external government and industry customers. We are looking for an Industrial Security Generalist who has a good understanding of Security Procedures in a Cleared Defense Contractor environment and is interested in learning more. Resourcefulness, strong work ethic, and excellent interpersonal skills are required.

This candidate will become familiar with security requirements for technical contracts, as necessary to perform duties as a Facility Security Officer (FSO). The applicant will perform all facets of security work including physical security, document control, and classified meeting support. This position also provides the opportunity to be an integral part of a corporate security team, sharing responsibility for overseeing an Open Storage Area under DCSA.

Responsibilities

• FSO requirements for a TOP SECRET level facility
• Document control, visit requests, and inspection support
• Creating and maintaining documents such as Self-Inspection Checklists, SOPs, CONOPs, etc.
• Administering security indoctrination briefings, refresher trainings and debriefings
• Provide training and awareness on emergency response protocols, and safety guidelines
• Oversight for secure builds
• Maintain accurate records, logs, and documentation related to security incidents, audits, and training activities
• Assist in the development and enforcement of security policies and procedures
• Contribute to the Corporate Security program through the completion of individual security assignments
• Coordination of physical security systems such as access control and alarm systems
• Perform Information System Security Manager (ISSM) tasks to include support of computer audits, virus definitions, and back-ups
  
  

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in industrial security environment
• Well-developed communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with employees, management, and external stakeholders
• Strong customer service orientation
• Able to adapt to new tasks and meet challenging timelines
• The ability to work independently, be self-motivated, and problem solve
• Proficient with Windows applications
• Security Certification
• Excellent writing skills
• Bachelor’s degree preferred
• CPSO experience and knowledge of ICD 705 / TEMPEST special facility construction is desired in order to support future requirements
  
  

The annual pay range for the Facility Security Officer/Office Operations Specialist position is $75,000 to $115,000.

The posted pay range values provide the candidate with guidance on annual base compensation for the position, at a full time level of effort, exclusive of overtime, bonus, and benefits-related compensation, over a range of qualifications that may fit hiring objectives. Toyon Research Corporation will consider the individual candidate’s education, work experience, applicable knowledge, skills and training, among other factors, when preparing an offer of employment.
