TNA is looking for Multi-Craft Maintenance Technicians who can troubleshoot and maintain advanced production machinery, including robotic-driven equipment with programmable logic controllers (PLCs).
Toyo Tire North America Manufacturing is seeking a skilled Multi-Craft Maintenance Technician to support and maintain advanced production and automation equipment in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment. This role is essential in ensuring high equipment reliability, minimal downtime, and safe operation of all plant systems.
Mandatory Skills & Qualifications – Two-year college or technical school - minimum 5 yrs experience in the following.
- PLC experience: Mitsubishi and Allen‑Bradley.
- Electrical knowledge: AC/DC systems, servo drives, VFDs, electrical motors, and troubleshooting.
- Mechanical proficiency: Mechanical transmission systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, fluid power controls.
- Ability to diagnose complex problems and read schematics.
- Experience with industrial maintenance in a manufacturing environment (5 years preferred).
- Must be safety‑oriented, able to multitask, and effective working independently or in teams.
Qualifications:
Education and experience requirements are as follows:
- Two-year college or technical school; and/or five (5) or more years of mechanical/electrical experience; and demonstrated expertise in the following areas:
- Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) - Mitsubishi and Allen Bradley
- AC & DC Servo drives
- Hydraulics and pneumatics
- Variable frequency drives (VFDs)
- Proficient in both electrical system troubleshooting and mechanical maintenance is a MUST.
Also, you must be willing to work a night shift schedule that includes some weekends and holidays in a manufacturing environment that may not be climate-controlled.
