What You’ll Do:
- Design & Develop: Create and improve large-scale electrical systems and machinery used in manufacturing, power generation, and transmission.
- Test & Install: Oversee the testing, installation, and maintenance of electrical equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety.
- Collaborate: Work closely with vendors, contractors, engineers, and maintenance teams to ensure systems meet design and operational standards.
- Use Technology: Leverage computer-aided design (CAD) tools and engineering software to develop and refine system designs.
- Optimize Production: Partner with planning and design teams to ensure equipment and tooling support efficient, high-quality production.
- Evaluate & Improve: Analyze equipment proposals, specifications, and manuals to assess feasibility and recommend improvements.
- Lead Projects: Direct engineering teams in building test equipment and developing procedures for system testing and validation.
- Ensure Quality: Monitor installations and recommend design changes to prevent malfunctions and improve system reliability.
- Plan for the Future: Use data and statistical methods to forecast equipment capabilities and support long-term manufacturing goals.

Qualifications:
What We’re Looking For:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) or Electrical Engineering Technology (BSEET) from an accredited four-year college or university, and 7 to 10 years of related experience.
- 7 to 10 years of hands-on experience in electrical engineering roles, preferably in manufacturing, power systems, or related industries.
- A strong foundation in both theory and practical application of electrical systems, controls, and automation.
- Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively in fast-paced, technical environments.
Technical Skills You’ll Need to Succeed:
- Advanced Troubleshooting: Ability to diagnose and resolve complex electrical and mechanical issues down to the component level.
- Control System Design: Skilled in designing or modifying electrical control systems to boost machine reliability and productivity.
- PLC & Motion Control Expertise: Proficient in programming and troubleshooting motion control systems, with a strong preference for experience with Mitsubishi PLCs.
- System Calibration: Capable of calibrating electrical systems and components to ensure optimal performance.
- PLC & Servo Programming: Able to read, interpret, troubleshoot, and modify complex PLC and servo control programs.
- Hands-On Repair: Experienced in identifying and repairing faults in PLC systems.
- Cross-Functional Communication: Comfortable working collaboratively and professionally with team members across departments.
- Project Management: Able to lead projects from initial concept through to full implementation.
- Vendor Coordination: Skilled at working with vendors and contractors to source parts, equipment, and services efficiently and cost-effectively.
- Flexible Availability: Willingness to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed to support operations.
