What are the responsibilities and job description for the Fire Apparatus Service/Repair Technician position at Toyne Inc.?
Toyne Inc. is a manufacturer of custom built fire apparatus. We are in need of someone who can diagnose, repair, and test fire apparatus. This would involve tearing down and rebuilding pumps, repairing and installing valves, diagnosing and replacing electrical components, removing and re-installing hardware, and all other areas of apparatus maintenance.
This individual would also operate our mobile service unit. They would travel across the state to do basic service contract work on trucks at the local Fire Stations. They would also ISO test the trucks in months where weather permits. These would be 1-2 night overstays.
In colder months they would do work on new apparatus to help with production.
Mechanical experience is a must. Good customer relation skills are preferred.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $28.00 - $32.00 per hour
