Wellness Director (Clinical Lead) – Senior Living / Skilled Nursing

Salary: $95,000 – $115,000 Bonus Benefits

Overview

We are currently partnering with a well-established and growing senior living community in the Tampa area to appoint an experienced Wellness Director to lead their clinical function.

This is a key leadership role within the community, offering the opportunity to shape clinical standards, build and develop a strong care team, and play a central role in delivering high-quality resident care.

The organization has a strong reputation locally and is looking for someone who can bring both clinical expertise and leadership presence to the role.

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee all clinical operations within the community
• Lead, mentor, and develop nursing and care staff
• Ensure compliance with state regulations and internal standards
• Drive quality assurance and continuous improvement initiatives
• Manage staffing levels, scheduling, and retention strategies
• Collaborate closely with the Executive Director and leadership team
• Act as a key point of contact for residents, families, and external providers
• Maintain a strong, positive clinical culture across the community

Requirements

• Active RN or LPN license (Florida)
• Previous leadership experience within senior living, assisted living, or similar settings
• Strong understanding of regulatory compliance and clinical standards
• Proven ability to lead and retain care teams
• Confident communicator with a hands-on leadership style
• Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced environment

Preferred

• Experience as a Wellness Director / Resident Care Director
• Background in building or stabilising clinical teams
• Experience improving quality metrics or survey outcomes
