Job Brief

• Assist the Accounting Manager in overseeing financial operations and accounting processes.
• Manage and reconcile financial records, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations
• Process bi-weekly payroll and prepare several state payroll tax returns.
• Provide support in preparing financial statements for CPA review reports.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the month-end and year-end closing processes, including journal entries and account reconciliations.
• Review and verify financial transactions, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
• Support the preparation of tax returns and compliance with tax regulations.
• Provide guidance to the accounting team and ensure proper documentation of financial transactions.
• Contribute to financial analysis and forecasting activities.

Requirements and Skills

To excel as an Assistant Accounting Manager, you should possess the following qualifications and skills:

• A bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
• Proven experience in accounting or finance roles.
• Knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, and tax codes.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Bilingual: speak, write and read English and Chinese/ Mandarin preferred.
• Able to work full time, Monday through Friday 8AM-5PM.
