What are the responsibilities and job description for the Plumbing Inspector (Per Diem) position at Township of Livingston?
The Township of Livingston seeks a Plumbing Inspector for the Building Department. This is a Per Diem position with 20 hours per week.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to performing plumbing inspections of residential and commercial properties within the Township as required by the NJ Uniform Construction Code.
A successful candidate must have strong customer service skills, team player mentality, and natural ability to conduct themselves in a professional manner.
Education/Experience: Any combination of education and experience equivalent to graduation from high school and extensive experience in the installation, repair, maintenance and inspection of plumbing systems.
Licensing &/or Certifications: Possession of valid appropriate Plumbing Inspector license issued by The State of New Jersey.
Possession of a Driver’s License valid in the State of New Jersey
