LABORER II/SANITATION COLLECTOR II/TRUCK DRIVER I

Hanover Township is seeking two (2) experienced individuals for the position of Full-Time (40 hours/week) Public Works Laborer II/Sanitation Collector II/Truck Driver I. The ideal candidate will have experience working with manual work with extensive muscular exertion, collecting sanitation, recycling and bulk items, safely operating truck and equipment such as sanitation truck, jet truck, loader, dump truck, sweeper and smaller equipment when needed. This position requires a valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL), Class “A” and CDL “B” equipment. or willingness and ability to obtain within six (6) months of appointment to this title. .

The position is classified as a Job Group IV under Schedule D-1 . The current range is $35,000 - $75,304 or $19.23 - $36.20 per hour. Benefits available include holidays, vacations, paid leave, family leave for eligible employees, comprehensive health and dental insurance, temporary disability insurance, tuition aid, membership in the (appropriate State pension system), and overtime pay.
