What are the responsibilities and job description for the Engineering Project Coordinator position at Township of East Brunswick?
The Township of East Brunswick is accepting applications for a full-time Engineering Project Coordinator within the Department of Planning & Engineering. The ideal candidate will perform a variety of duties related to the design, coordination, and inspection of capital improvement projects. Responsibilities will include coordinating and inspecting site work for commercial and residential developments; preparing resolutions, vouchers, and bid documents for contract work; advertising for and attending bid openings; monitoring construction progress; determining bond requirements; responding to residents’ complaints and concerns regarding grading and drainage; and related duties as assigned.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES: Must have excellent customer service skills and be proficient in the use of AutoCAD, Word, and Excel.
EXPERIENCE: Must have experience performing fieldwork and calculations for land surveying work for municipal project designs.
EDUCATION: Required to have a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering or related degree, and an Engineer in Training is preferred. Recent graduates will be considered.
LICENSING & CERTIFICATION: Must possess a valid NJ driver's license.
