Physical Education/Health Teacher- 1.0 FTE
Qualifications:
- State of Illinois Professional Educators License (PEL) with Senior HS endorsements in physical education and health.
- Willingness to work cooperatively with other teachers in the physical education and health departments to develop new course work and to support existing programs.
- EL preferred.
- Ability to teach courses at various academic levels.
- Must have excellent teaching skills with the ability to work in a variety of learning environments.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Willingness to support building co-curricular activities such as a theatre director, coach, or sponsor.
- Commitment to working with an interdisciplinary or integrated team: designing, implementing, and refining curriculum.
- Proficiency in the use of instructional and multimedia technologies.
- Candidate should be an active member in professional organizations related to physical education and health content area.
