Generator Service Technician - Experienced

Pay: $32.00 to $40.00 per hour, depending on experience commission opportunities

Work Schedule: Monday through Friday | 7:30am to 4:00pm

What You Will Be Doing

• Perform scheduled service, preventative maintenance, and new installations of residential standby generators
• Coaching and developing entry-level technicians through hands-on training and guidance
• Complete inspections according to manufacturer recommendations
• Change oil, filters, spark plugs, batteries, and other maintenance-related components
• Document maintenance findings accurately
• Identify potential concerns and communicate recommendations to customers and management
  
  

What We Are Looking For

• 5 years of hands-on experience with generator installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair
• Proven ability to mentor, coach, and train less-experienced technicians
• Physically capable of lifting 50 pounds and performing demanding fieldwork as needed
• Generac Certification preferred, but not mandatory
• Strong mechanical skills with a willingness to learn and expand technical knowledge
• Additional experience with HVAC, electrical systems, plumbing, propane, or oil is highly valued
• Valid driver's license with a clean or satisfactory driving history
