Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Administrative Clerk to support our accounting department. The ideal candidate will have experience in automotive accounting or general bookkeeping, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work accurately in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.
- Handle customer and vendor invoices and statements.
- Reconcile daily deposit, credit cards, and general ledger accounts.
- Process weekly payroll and maintain employee records.
- Maintain accurate financial records and filing systems.
- Assist with month-end and year-end closings.
- Communicate with vendors, customers, and internal departments.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
Qualifications & Skills
- Previous experience with automotive accounting preferred but not necessary.
- Proficiency with CDK DMS software and iSolved Payroll Software preferred but not necessary.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information professionally.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Education & Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- 1–3 years of accounting or bookkeeping experience preferred.
