Responsibilities

• Perform thorough cleaning of residential spaces, including dusting, surface cleaning, floor care, and carpet cleaning to uphold cleanliness standards.
• Implement proper cleaning and sanitation procedures using appropriate cleaning detergents and equipment.
• Manage laundry tasks efficiently, including washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens and clothing.
• Handle manual tasks such as heavy lifting and outdoor work with safety and proper technique.
• Maintain cleanliness of floors through sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and specialized floor care methods.
• Ensure all surfaces are cleaned and sanitized regularly to promote a healthy environment.
• Communicate effectively with clients to understand their specific needs and provide excellent customer service.
• Use janitorial equipment responsibly, ensuring proper maintenance and storage after use.
• Manage time effectively to complete daily tasks within scheduled periods while maintaining quality standards.
• Support housekeeping management by reporting maintenance issues or supply needs promptly.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in residential cleaning, custodial work, or janitorial services is preferred.
• Knowledge of cleaning surfaces, floor care techniques, carpet cleaning, and sanitation protocols.
• Familiarity with cleaning equipment such as vacuums, buffers, steam cleaners, and laundry machines.
• Ability to handle manual handling tasks safely, including heavy lifting and outdoor work activities.
• Strong organizational skills with excellent time management abilities to prioritize tasks efficiently.
• Effective communication skills for client interaction and team collaboration.
• Experience implementing cleaning procedures in compliance with sanitation standards.
• A positive attitude with a proactive approach to maintaining high cleanliness standards across various environments.
