Family owned since 1971, Townline Equipment has an opening in our Service Department for a Small Engine Technician at our Walpole, NH store. This is a full-time mechanic position that offers a great wage, an excellent benefits package, a great work environment, and the opportunity for growth. What You'll Work On
- Gas-operated small engines, including lawn mowers and snow throwers
- Handheld equipment such as chainsaws and trimmers
- A variety of equipment brands
- Diesel equipment (a plus, not required)
Requirements
- Knowledge of gas-operated small engines (lawn mowers & snow throwers) and handheld equipment (chainsaws & trimmers)
- Diesel engine experience is a plus
- Willing to work on a variety of brands of equipment
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
- Superior knowledge of maintenance tools and repair equipment
- Basic knowledge of computer systems and other relevant electronics
- Welding experience preferred
- Willing to attend school/classes on the equipment we sell and service
- Good communication skills and a willingness to work as part of a team
- Valid driver's license
- Having your own tools is preferred
Compensation & Benefits
- Pay dependent on experience

Pay: $25.00 - $29.00 per hour
