What are the responsibilities and job description for the Environmental Services Tech position at Towner County Medical Center?
Part-Time
Duties:
- Carry out all cleaning duties as directed.
- Ensure that daily and deep cleaning schedules are adhered to.
- Maintain a high standard of personal presentation and hygiene.
- Ensure that all cleaning equipment is correctly and safely used and kept in a safe condition.
- Adhere to infection control policies.
- Adhere to correct use of personal protective equipment (PEE) requirements.
- Ensure all necessary documentation is completed daily.
- Maintain confidentiality of protected health information, including verbal, written, and electronic communications.
- Dust furniture, woodwork, equipment, and dust-mop floors.
- Clean vents, fan fixtures, top of windows, door frames, and other high surfaces.
- Gather and dispose of trash and waste materials using specified bags and containers.
- Move furniture and other heavy objects as required.
- Perform terminal cleaning procedures of resident rooms and prepare rooms for new admissions; follow isolation procedures in isolation rooms.
- Clean and disinfect all fixtures, floors, mirrors, windows, doors, and walls of bathrooms.
- Make supply packs for departments and put linen stacks in carts for distributions
- Keep work areas neat and orderly, clean equipment and assist with other cleaning duties as assigned.
The environmental services tech ensures the provision of a clean environment for our residents and staff, providing high quality services and high standards of cleanliness, ensuring compliance with infection control procedures.
Salary : $16 - $18
