Hotel General Manager
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Hotel General Manager to join our award winning TownePlace Suites team. This role requires a proven leader with prior hotel general management experience.
Experience with Marriott properties is a plus, though not required. Hotel General Manager experience preferred, but will train the right individual with Hotel Management exprience.
As the Hotel General Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, driving strategic growth, and leading a high-performing team. The ideal candidate is a thoughtful leader, a confident decision-maker, and passionate about developing employees while delivering exceptional guest experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day hotel operations
- Develop and implement strategies to drive growth and profitability
- Manage budgets and optimize expenses
- Establish and enforce company policies and procedures
- Lead, mentor, and develop team members
- Oversee recruitment, onboarding, and training of staff
- Evaluate and improve operational and financial performance
- Direct employee performance assessments
- Prepare and present reports to upper management
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
- Resolve operational challenges, including revenue growth, employee relations, and brand compliance.
Qualifications & Skills
- Proven experience as a Hotel General Manager
- Experience with Marriott Hotels is a plus
- Strong background in planning, budgeting, and financial management
- In-depth knowledge of hotel operations and business functions
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Outstanding leadership, organizational, and communication abilities
