Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of public areas, exterior areas, back-of-house spaces to uphold high standards of hygiene and presentation
- Maintain floors through sweeping, mopping, polishing, and specialized floor care techniques to ensure safety and aesthetic appeal
- Assist with furniture moving, setup for events, and restocking supplies as needed to support smooth operations
- Conduct routine janitorial tasks including trash removal, surface disinfecting, and restroom sanitation with precision and efficiency
- Support housekeeping management by reporting maintenance issues or supply shortages promptly
- Ensure all cleaning equipment is properly maintained and stored according to safety standards
- Follow health and safety protocols diligently to create a secure environment for guests and staff alike
Requirements
- Proven experience in cleaning, custodial work, or janitorial services; hotel or hospitality experience is highly preferred
- Knowledge of floor care techniques including polishing, stripping, waxing, and carpet cleaning
- Strong understanding of hospitality standards and guest service expectations
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, standing for extended periods, and operating cleaning machinery safely
- Excellent attention to detail with a proactive approach to maintaining cleanliness and orderliness
- Effective communication skills to coordinate with team members and report issues clearly
- Prior experience in industrial cleaning or housekeeping management is a plus
