Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize guest rooms thoroughly, including making beds, dusting surfaces, vacuuming carpets, and disinfecting bathrooms to ensure hygiene standards are met.
• Perform window cleaning and floor care tasks using appropriate cleaning equipment to maintain spotless windows and pristine floors.
• Handle laundry services efficiently, including washing, folding, and organizing linens and guest clothing items.
• Maintain cleanliness in public areas such as hallways, lobbies, and restrooms by performing janitorial duties like trash removal and surface sanitation.
• Use personal protective equipment (PPE) properly during chemical handling and cleaning procedures to ensure safety for yourself and others.
• Operate cleaning machinery such as pressure washers or specialized floor care equipment with precision and care.
• Follow infection control protocols diligently to prevent the spread of germs and maintain a safe environment for guests and staff alike.

Requirements

• Prior custodial or janitorial experience is preferred, especially in commercial or hospitality settings.
• Demonstrated ability to perform heavy lifting and manual handling tasks safely and efficiently.
• Knowledge of cleaning techniques including sanitation standards, chemical handling, and infection control practices.
• Experience with cleaning equipment such as vacuum cleaners, pressure washers, floor buffers, and window washing tools.
• Strong customer service skills with a friendly attitude toward guests and team members.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
• Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends or holidays as needed.

Pay: $13.50 - $15.00 per hour
