Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Laundry Attendant to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of laundry services, ensuring that all linens and garments are properly cleaned, dried, and presented to meet our high standards. Your attention to detail and commitment to quality will contribute significantly to the overall guest experience.
Responsibilities
- Operate washing machines and dryers efficiently while adhering to safety protocols.
- Sort, wash, dry, fold, and iron linens and garments as required.
- Maintain cleanliness in the laundry area by regularly cleaning machines and workspaces.
- Monitor inventory levels of cleaning supplies and report any shortages.
- Handle special requests for dry cleaning or delicate items with care.
- Ensure that all laundry items are returned to their designated areas in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with housekeeping staff to meet the laundry needs of the hotel or facility.
Skills
- Proficient in laundry techniques including washing, drying, folding, and ironing.
- Strong cleaning skills with an understanding of fabric care requirements.
- Experience with dry cleaning processes is a plus.
- Previous hotel experience is preferred but not mandatory.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Pay: From $12.00 per hour
