Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive cleaning duties including dusting, surface cleaning, floor care, carpet cleaning, and sanitation of all residential areas.
• Implement cleaning and sanitation procedures to ensure hygiene standards are consistently met.
• Manage laundry tasks such as washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens and clothing items.
• Operate various cleaning equipment and tools safely and efficiently, including vacuum cleaners, floor buffers, and janitorial supplies.
• Handle manual tasks such as heavy lifting, outdoor work, and moving furniture or equipment with proper technique.
• Maintain cleanliness of surfaces and floors through routine sweeping, mopping, polishing, and specialized floor care techniques.
• Communicate effectively with clients to understand their specific needs, provide updates on completed tasks, and ensure satisfaction with services rendered.

Skills

• Proven experience in residential or commercial cleaning environments with janitorial or custodial expertise.
• Knowledge of cleaning detergents, disinfectants, and proper handling of cleaning chemicals.
• Strong manual handling skills with the ability to lift heavy items safely.
• Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during scheduled shifts.
• Customer service orientation with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally with clients.
• Experience in outdoor work environments is a plus.
• Familiarity with various cleaning surfaces including carpets, tiles, hardwood floors, and upholstery.
