Responsibilities
- Prepare and set up the breakfast area with food items, utensils, and condiments.
- Serve breakfast items to guests while ensuring a friendly and welcoming atmosphere.
- Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including tables, chairs, and serving stations.
- Monitor food inventory levels and assist in ordering supplies as needed.
- Handle cash register transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Communicate effectively with guests to address any inquiries or concerns regarding the breakfast offerings.
- Adhere to food handling and safety guidelines to ensure quality service.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation of food items.
- Utilize Aloha POS or OpenTable systems for order processing when necessary.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred.
- Strong guest relations skills with the ability to communicate effectively.
- Knowledge of food handling practices and culinary techniques.
- Familiarity with cash register operations is a plus.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Proficiency in using kitchen tools including knives for food preparation.
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.
