Hotel Maintenance Technician - Full Time $22/Hr

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on hotel systems, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and lighting
• Respond promptly to guest and staff maintenance requests and work orders
• Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces
• Troubleshoot and repair equipment and facility issues in a timely manner
• Complete preventative maintenance tasks to help reduce downtime and repairs
• Maintain tools, equipment, and maintenance areas in clean and safe condition
• Document completed work orders and communicate updates to management and other departments
• Support overall safety and compliance with hotel standards and regulations
• Assist with special projects, renovations, or emergency repairs as needed

Skills

• Previous hotel or hospitality maintenance experience preferred
• Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general building systems
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
• Hands-on ability to perform repairs and maintenance tasks
• Good time management and ability to prioritize work orders
• Attention to detail and commitment to safety standards
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong communication skills with staff, management, and other departments
• Ability to effectively coordinate with other departments to support hotel operations
• Ability to stay calm and effective in a fast-paced environment
• Familiarity with tools, equipment, and standard maintenance procedures
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; technical training or certification a plus
• Ability to work flexible schedules
