Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Front Desk Agent to join our team in providing exceptional guest experiences. As the first point of contact for our guests, you will play a crucial role in ensuring their stay is enjoyable and memorable. The ideal candidate will possess strong customer service skills, a passion for hospitality, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. Position is 4 days a week 2, 3p-11p shifts 2 11p-7a shifts each week. Weekends and holidays required.
Duties
- Greet guests upon arrival with a warm and welcoming demeanor.
- Manage check-in and check-out processes efficiently while ensuring accuracy in guest information.
- Handle reservations, cancellations, and modifications through various channels.
- Provide information about hotel amenities, services, and local attractions to enhance the guest experience.
- Address guest inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally, ensuring high levels of satisfaction.
- Maintain front desk operations, including managing multi-line phone systems and handling correspondence.
- Conduct night audits as required, ensuring all financial transactions are accurately recorded.
- Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure rooms are ready for guests.
- Uphold hotel policies and procedures while maintaining a positive atmosphere for both guests and staff.
Skills
- Strong background in hospitality management or hotel management is preferred.
- Bilingual or multilingual abilities are highly desirable to cater to diverse guests.
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on guest relations.
- Proficient in phone etiquette and managing multi-line phone systems effectively.
- Previous experience in front desk operations or resort environments is an advantage.
- Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
