Duties
- Perform routine and preventive maintenance on building systems, machinery, and equipment to ensure optimal performance
- Troubleshoot electrical issues using schematics, ohmmeters, and other diagnostic tools; repair or replace faulty components
- Conduct welding repairs and fabrication as needed for facility upgrades or equipment fixes
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS)
- Assist with residential painting projects and general facilities upkeep to enhance the appearance and safety of the premises
- Supervise junior maintenance staff or contractors during specific projects or repairs, ensuring quality and safety standards are met
- Read and interpret schematics, mechanical drawings, and technical manuals to execute complex repairs confidently
Requirements
- Proven experience with electrical systems, mechanical maintenance, welding, and schematics interpretation
- Knowledge of Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) used in manufacturing automation processes
- Familiarity with facilities maintenance practices within residential or manufacturing environments
- Strong understanding of CMMS software for tracking work orders and maintenance history
- Ability to operate diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters effectively
- Excellent communication skills in English to coordinate with team members and report issues clearly
- Supervising experience is preferred to lead maintenance projects efficiently
- Mechanical knowledge combined with hands-on experience in troubleshooting complex equipment problems
- Customer service mindset to address internal client needs promptly and professionally
