Responsibilities
- Clean and sanitize guest rooms, including bedrooms, bathrooms, and common areas, ensuring high standards of cleanliness are met.
- Perform floor care duties such as vacuuming, mopping, and polishing surfaces to maintain a pristine environment.
- Replace linens, towels, and toiletries as needed, ensuring that all items are stocked and presented neatly.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly.
- Assist in the organization of housekeeping supplies and equipment to ensure efficient operations.
- Uphold the hotel's standards of hospitality by providing friendly and professional service to guests.
- Participate in training sessions related to housekeeping management and industrial cleaning techniques as required.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in hotel housekeeping or custodial services is preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- A commitment to providing outstanding hospitality and customer service.
- Ability to lift, carry, or move items weighing up to 25 pounds as needed.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
