Responsibilities
- Clean and sanitize guest rooms, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and replenishing supplies to ensure a pristine environment.
- Perform floor care duties such as mopping, sweeping, and carpet cleaning to maintain spotless surfaces throughout the property.
- Handle laundry tasks efficiently, including washing, folding, and organizing linens and towels.
- Maintain cleanliness in public areas such as hallways, lobbies, restrooms, and other communal spaces.
- Follow established safety and cleaning protocols while using janitorial equipment and industrial cleaning tools.
- Report maintenance issues or safety hazards promptly to ensure swift resolution.
- Support team members with additional custodial tasks as needed to uphold the hotel’s standards of excellence.
Experience
- Prior experience in hotel housekeeping or custodial roles is preferred but not required; training will be provided for motivated candidates.
- Familiarity with cleaning techniques including floor care and industrial cleaning equipment is advantageous.
- Experience in hospitality or janitorial services demonstrates a strong understanding of customer service and cleanliness standards.
- Knowledge of hotel operations or housekeeper management practices is a plus.
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high standards of hygiene and presentation.
