Job Summary

Duties

• Perform thorough cleaning of residential spaces, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and surface sanitation to maintain hygiene and aesthetic appeal
• Implement cleaning and sanitation procedures using appropriate detergents and equipment to ensure a safe environment
• Handle laundry tasks such as washing, drying, folding, and organizing clothing and linens with care and efficiency
• Clean floors using various methods including sweeping, mopping, carpet cleaning, and floor care techniques to preserve flooring quality
• Maintain cleanliness of surfaces such as countertops, appliances, bathroom fixtures, and furniture with attention to detail
• Operate cleaning equipment safely and effectively while adhering to all safety protocols for manual handling and heavy lifting
• Manage outdoor work responsibilities like patio or porch cleaning as needed to uphold overall property presentation
• Communicate professionally with clients regarding specific cleaning preferences or special requests to enhance customer satisfaction
• Organize housekeeping supplies and manage time effectively to complete tasks within scheduled periods without compromising quality

Experience

• Proven experience in residential cleaning or housekeeping roles with a strong understanding of janitorial and custodial practices
• Familiarity with cleaning detergents, equipment operation, floor care techniques, carpet cleaning methods, and sanitation standards
• Demonstrated ability to perform manual handling tasks safely, including heavy lifting and outdoor work when required
• Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently across multiple client homes or properties
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally with clients about their needs
• Experience managing housekeeping routines independently or within a team environment in residential settings
• Knowledge of commercial cleaning practices is a plus but not mandatory; eagerness to learn new skills is valued

Pay: $10.00 - $11.00 per hour
