Duties
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival, establishing a friendly and professional first impression.
- Manage guest check-in and check-out processes efficiently using hotel management software.
- Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints with professionalism and a solutions-oriented mindset.
- Operate multi-line phone systems with excellent phone etiquette to assist callers and direct inquiries appropriately.
- Maintain accurate records of reservations, cancellations, and guest information while ensuring data confidentiality.
- Coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance, and other departments to fulfill guest needs promptly.
- Conduct night audits by balancing accounts, reconciling transactions, and preparing reports to ensure financial accuracy overnight.
- Promote hotel amenities and services to enhance the guest experience and increase revenue opportunities.
- Uphold security protocols by monitoring access points and ensuring safety procedures are followed at all times.
- Assist in managing guest relations by providing personalized service that exceeds expectations.
- Support multilingual communication to cater to diverse guests from various backgrounds.
- Be able to work different shifts.
Experience
- Prior experience in hospitality management or front desk operations within a hotel or resort environment is highly desirable.
- Strong customer service skills with a passion for creating positive guest interactions.
- Proficiency in hotel management software systems; familiarity with multi-line phone systems is a plus.
- Bilingual or multilingual abilities are preferred to effectively communicate with a diverse clientele.
- Knowledge of hospitality industry standards including phone etiquette, guest relations, and hotel procedures.
- Experience conducting night audits or handling cash transactions is advantageous but not required.
