WHO THIS ROLE IS DESIGNED FOR
The Associate Advisor role is a strong fit for someone who enjoys the analytical and relationship-driven side of financial planning.
In this role, you will work closely with experienced advisors to prepare planning analysis, participate in client conversations, and support the thoughtful implementation of financial strategies.
Associate Advisors participate in client meetings and planning discussions alongside advisors, gaining direct exposure to how client relationships are developed and maintained.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
As an Associate Advisor, you will contribute to the client experience and financial planning process by:
· Participating in client meetings and planning discussions alongside advisors
· Preparing financial planning analysis, projections, and meeting materials
· Assisting in the development and maintenance of comprehensive financial plans across areas such as investments, tax considerations, retirement planning, and estate planning
· Researching planning strategies and supporting preparation for investment and planning reviews
· Coordinating the implementation and follow-through of planning recommendations with the client service team
· Maintaining accurate client records and tracking planning updates within the CRM
· Continuing to develop financial planning expertise and client relationship skills through mentorship, experience, and professional development
WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE IN THIS ROLE
Successful Associate Advisors tend to:
· Prepare thoroughly for client meetings and contribute thoughtful planning analysis that supports advisor recommendations
· Communicate clearly with both clients and team members, helping ensure planning recommendations and follow-up actions are understood and implemented
· Take ownership of planning details and follow-through, ensuring that client plans remain accurate and up to date
· Build strong working relationships with advisors and the client service team to deliver a seamless client experience
· Continue developing financial planning expertise while gaining greater exposure to client relationships over time
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
Strong candidates often bring:
- Experience in wealth management, financial planning, or an RIA environment
- Progress toward or completion of the CFP® designation
- Strong financial planning and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and professionalism with clients
- High attention to detail and organizational ability
Experience with financial planning software, CRM systems, and custodial platforms such as Schwab is helpful.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

- Salary: $90,000 – $115,000, compensation may vary depending on experience
