✨ What You’ll Do
- Review residential real estate appraisals to determine sufficient value is established to secure associated mortgage loans.
- Review appraisal reports to determine compliance with all agency and regulatory guidelines as well as investor overlays and TowneBank requirements.
- Review condominium and PUD project documentation to determine compliance with agency and investor requirements for approving and certifying lender representations and warranties.
- Complete all necessary forms to comply with regulatory, investor, bank and agency guidelines.
- Record appropriate data and status into processing system.
- Mentor and support processors.
- Support Originators as a resource for questions.
- Other duties as needed.
- Obey all applicable federal laws, rules, and regulations relating to Anti-Money Laundering (AML) including the Bank Secrecy Act (BSA)
- 2 years of recent collateral underwriting experience
- Strong knowledge of Conventional, FHA, VA & USDA guidelines
- Experience with appraisals and/or condo/PUD review (we’ll train in the other!)
- Detail-oriented, organized, and great at juggling priorities
- VA SAR and/or FHA DE authority (CHUMS)
- Experience in both appraisal and condo review
