Responsibilities
- Set up and arrange breakfast buffet stations, ensuring all items are fresh, appealing, and well-stocked throughout service hours
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of all food preparation areas, adhering strictly to food safety sanitizing procedures and food safety management standards
- Assist with food handling and preparation tasks, including slicing, plating, and presenting breakfast items with care and precision
- Serve guests efficiently and courteously, providing excellent customer service that exceeds expectations
- Operate POS systems for guest transactions accurately and efficiently
- Handle weight in the workplace responsibly when managing supplies or food items, following manual handling protocols
- Support catering or banquet setups as needed, ensuring timely delivery of breakfast services for special events or group bookings
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service, restaurant work, or hospitality preferred; fine dining or culinary experience is a plus
- Knowledge of food safety sanitizing procedures and food handling practices essential for maintaining hygiene standards
- Familiarity with POS systems and serving techniques to enhance guest interactions
- Ability to handle manual tasks such as weight handling with proper safety measures in place
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude
- Experience with catering, banquet service, or dietary aide roles is advantageous
- Barista experience or knowledge of wine can be beneficial but not required
